Hmmm..what's this all about?

I created this today so that I could comment on Dale's post from yesterday. I've really shied away from the blog thing because it is hard for me to be so open and honest. That's where the name Striving for Transparancey came in. This is going to be a real slow process for me. I have been reading the blogs of others for the past month or so. I am very much in awe of how transparent you all are. So please pray for me and bear with me as I start this slow journey. Now that I'm here I'll let you all know when I am reading your thoughts.

Wow! I love the name of your blog!!! What a cool idea .. Striving for Transparancy .. Sounds like a Toni Morrison novel ..

I love you and I am praying for you! I know you have a depth of love and emotion to share with this world, and I know that we will all be blessed beyond recognition when you show it to us!

You amaze me! I am so glad I am your husband!

You're a blogger now! Welcome, I am so glad to see you here, and can't wait to know you better...I am sorry that I haven't done my part in doing that before now. Why is it so much easier to write these things for some of us? I don't know, but please know that you are no different than the rest of us in your fear of saying the wrong thing, or of being transparent. It takes courage and the knowledge that you can trust those you are communicating with. Every time I hit "publish" I wonder if I haven't just committed blogger suicide. :>) But I do it anyway.

Whew, I intended to just say welcome, but there ya go. It gets away from me sometimes...

Hi Diane. Welcome to the blog world. It is hard to be transparent. it has taken me years to get to where I am now. However, by building relationships (outside the blog & within) with these people has really helped me. It is risky to be so open, but most of the time it is a real blessing and everyone benefits from hearing your heart.
